Welcome

Welcome to our blog about the village of Haughton in Cheshire


The Parish of Haughton lies to the northwest of Nantwich within the Cheshire East Borough Council. The village derives its name from a Norman surname, although little is known about the family from this time other than that they were granted the land by William the Conqueror for their help in the Battle of Hastings.
